Integration and Slow-Down
About this course
Welcome to The Magic of Drawing II: Integration and Slow-Down
Discover the power of balance and mindfulness through drawing. The Magic of Drawing II is designed to help you connect your right and left hemispheres, bringing greater focus, creativity, and integration to your artistic and personal pursuits. This course invites you to slow down, reflect, and draw with purpose, creating harmony between the analytical and creative sides of your mind.
Course Overview
This course is divided into three unique two hours sessions, each exploring the ways drawing can foster deeper integration, mindfulness, and balance.
-
Session 1: Crossdrawing
Engage both sides of your brain with crossdrawing, a technique that combines hand-eye coordination with mental integration. You’ll practice drawing across different axes, challenging yourself to connect the logical and creative hemispheres of your brain. This session helps you improve coordination, focus, and mental agility through structured, yet fluid, artistic exercises.
-
Session 2: Drawing Upside Down
In this session, you’ll take on the challenge of drawing upside down — a method that pushes your brain to see things differently and improve spatial awareness. By breaking down familiar objects into abstract shapes, this technique encourages deeper observation and strengthens your ability to engage both visual and analytical processes.
-
Session 3: Slow Drawing
Discover the art of slowing down. Slow drawing is about taking your time, focusing on details, and immersing yourself in the process rather than the result. This meditative approach to drawing not only calms the mind but also allows for greater creativity and mindfulness. You’ll leave this session with a deeper connection to your creative instincts and a renewed sense of clarity.
